Known as the "master workman" of Philadelphia, John Krider's shop was the city's most famous sporting destination. By 1867, Krider was a well-recognized manufacturer of both dependable firearms and fishing rods. His store eventually became known as the Sportsmen's Depot. The request on this card is for a 12 guage muzzle loader.
