Very slightly doubled "Sue City, MO" CDS duplexed to a four-ring target
Sue City, Missouri, was a small settlement in Macon County whose postal history is tied to the early development of the region. The Sue City post office was established in 1868, shortly after the town was platted that same year. The town and its post office were named in honor of Susan Ryster, the wife of one of the area's first settlers. The post office served the local community for over three decades before it was discontinued in 1900.
