The post office at Hannon, Missouri, was a long-standing rural station in Barton County, serving the community for over 70 years during the county's agricultural and mining peak. It opened on July 20, 1881 and closed on July 31, 1954. Today, the town is largely residential and agricultural. While the post office and depot are gone, the Hannon Free Will Baptist Church remains a landmark for the community.
