MO DPO - Elmwood full-date CDS - 1901 - Target killer

A post office named Elm Wood (originally spelled as two words) was established in the area on June 10, 1851. The office provided essential mail services for settlers and farmers in the region for over 50 years. The Elmwood post office officially closed on August 31, 1907.
