MO DPO - Dielstadt, MO - Misspelled town name in CDS

When the town was platted in 1868, the original legal document filed on June 15, 1870, spelled the name as "Dielstadt." Despite the legal plat spelling of "Dielstadt," the official post office established in 1870 was recorded as "Diehlstadt." There are no historical records that explain the missing "t" on this CDS.
