MO DPO - Banner - 1904

The post office began operations in 1924 in Kaolin Township. It was situated in the community of Banner (also historically known by the variant name Brule). The office officially closed in 1956. Cover also includes two rec'd markings, one is an exceptional marking from the Smithton, MO post ffice.
