William Aiken Kelly (1840–1898) was a notable Confederate officer who served as a Captain in the 1st South Carolina Volunteer Infantry (also known as the 1st Provisional Army), which was a core part of McGowan's Brigade within Wilcox's Division. During the Battle of Gettysburg, he led his company in the fierce fighting on July 1, 1863, near the Lutheran Theological Seminary.
