#11 Type 1 with deep blue fancy grid cancel - plated

Position 52L95 (Position 52, Left Pane, Plate 95) - We can't vouch for that, but a previous collector was interested enough in plating to put the plate position on the back.

We spent several hours researching this killer grid, looking for it in every reference we have, as well as searching online. That makes it "unlisted" in our book.

The red lines might be from original script or markings, but to our eyes (and a microscope), the color is entirely wrong for that. They are most likely ink markings applied later.
